CIA SPIES INDIA’S BIOMETRIC AADHAAR DATABASE IN REAL TIME | News

Aadhar Card database can easily be accessed by CIA Covert Operations via UIDAI certified company Cross Match. Today WikiLeaks published secret documents from the Express Lane Malware project of the CIA Spy operations. These documents show one of the cyber operations the CIA conducts against other govt. agencies. Let’s understand the process how can CIA hacks indias aadhar card database.

Aadhar & WiKi & CIA
Aadhar & WiKi & CIA

The OTS (Office of Technical Services), a branch of the CIA, has a biometric collection system that is provided to govt. agencies around the world — CIA’s ExpressLane is a covert information collection tool that is used exfiltrate data collections from such biometric systems provided to govt agencies around the world.

ExpressLane is installed and run with the cover of upgrading the biometric software by OTS agents that visit the Liaison sites. This procedure will remain unsuspicious, as the data exfiltration disguises behind a Windows installation splash screen.

The core components of the OTS system are based on products from Cross Match, a US company specializing in biometric software for law enforcement and the Intelligence Community.

Cross Match Is certified by UIDAI (India Govt’s Institute Responsible For Aadhar)

Cross Match was one of the first suppliers of biometric devices Aadhaar program. Cross Match received the Certificate of Approval for its Guardian fingerprint capture device and the iScan dual iris capture device on October 7, 2011. Both systems utilize Cross Match’s patented Auto Capture feature, which quickly captures high-quality images with minimal operator involvement.
Nearly all of the UIDAI certified enrollment agencies use Cross Match devices across India.

 Components of India’s Aadhar Program:

The foundation of the Aadhaar program is based on biometric and demographic data that is unique to each citizen. This data can only be collected by leveraging biometric devices and compatible software – the second and third stages of the Aadhaar value chain.

All the devices and compatible software are provided by Cross Match [ExpressLane Data Collection Malware Has been developed exfiltrate databases from Cross Match Products]

Read the Manual Of Installing Aadhar Enrollment Software (You will see Cross Match products are used for it)

How CIA agents can access Aadhaar database in real-time

A number of the CIA’s electronic attack methods are designed for physical proximity. These attack methods are able to penetrate high-security networks that are disconnected from the internet. In these cases, a CIA agent or spy physically infiltrate the targeted workplace. The attacker is provided with a USB containing malware developed by CIA for this purpose(Express Lane), which is inserted into the targeted computer.
The attacker then infects and exfiltrates data to removable media. For example, the CIA attack a system. To witnesses, the spy appears to be running a program showing videos (e.g VLC), presenting slides (Prezi), playing a computer game (Breakout2, 2048) or even running a fake virus scanner (Kaspersky, McAfee, Sophos).
ExpressLane comes with a standardized questionnaire i.e menu containing questions that CIA spy fills out. The questionnaire is remotely used by the CIA’s OSB (Operational Support Branch) to transform the requests of spies into technical requirements for hacking attacks. The questionnaire allows the CIA to communicate with Express Lane Malware.

YouTube Services Will Drop Amazon Fire TV, Echo Show on Jan. 1|Tech News

Google, which owns YouTube, and Amazon are going to war over streaming services and plenty more. YouTube is also disappearing again from Amazon’s Echo Show video device.

It’s not the first time Google has molded Amazon from the traditional video platform.

In September, Amazon unveiled a new line of Echo devices, including the Echo Plus, the Echo Spot and an updated Echo. In October, Google unveiled a slew of hardware products to get its Assistant, a digital helper akin to Amazon's Alexa and Apple's Siri, to more users. The new devices include an updated version of the Google Home smart speaker and a Google Home Mini device.

But on Tuesday, Google again drew YouTube off Echo Show and Fire TV, claiming Amazon is not reviewing its products fairly.

“We’ve been trying to reach an agreement with Amazon to give customers access to each other’s products and services. But Amazon doesn’t carry Google commodities like Chromecast and Google Home, doesn’t make Prime Video possible for Google Cast users, and last month discontinued selling some of Nest’s latest products,” a Google spokesperson said in an emailed statement.

“Given this lack of back-scratching, we are no longer maintaining YouTube on Echo Show and FireTV. We hope we can relinquish an agreement to resolve these issues soon."

Right now Google Home can't be bought on Amazon either. Neither can Google's Chromecast video streaming device. Google has been in negotiations with Amazon to try to get both company's products on each of their platforms, a person familiar with Google's thinking told CNET. That could mean, for example, having Prime Video, Amazon's streaming video service, on Google's Cast streaming products.

Bill Gates Is Developing the City of the Future in Arizona | Tech News

Bill Gates, the co-founder of Microsoft, has chosen Arizona to build his future ‘smart city’ by purchasing a plot of 25,000 acres of land in the south western region of the United States.

The area, which is a 45-minutes drive from west of Phoenix in an area called the West Valley off I-10 near Tonopah, costs $80 million, said Belmont Partners, a real estate investment group based in Arizona who closed the deal for the plot of land from one of Gates’ investment firms.

The proposed community, planned to spread across 25,000 acres, will be called ‘Belmont’, and the goal is to convert the land into its own “smart city,” according to Belmont Partners.

“Belmont will create a forward-thinking community with a communication and infrastructure spine that embraces cutting-edge technology, designed around high-speed digital networks, data centers, new manufacturing technologies and distribution models, autonomous vehicles and autonomous logistics hubs,” the group says in a news release.

Of the 25,000 acres, 3,800 acres will be used for office, retail, and commercial space, while another 470 acres will be used for public schools, which would leave enough space for 80,000 residential units.

“Comparable in square miles and projected population to Tempe, Arizona, Belmont will transform a raw, blank slate into a purpose-built edge city built around a flexible infrastructure model,” Belmont Properties said.

They even added that the future smart city will enjoy tomorrow’s technologies such as an autonomous vehicle infrastructure, autonomous logistic hubs, and more upon completion of the project.

Arizona Technology Council’s Executive Emeritus Ronald Schott said the land Gates’ company purchased is in a good spot, which is in part due to the proposed I-11 freeway, which would run right through Belmont and connect to Las Vegas.

“Bill Gates is known for innovation and those kind of things, and I think he picked the right place,” said Schott, which is in part due to the proposed I-11 freeway.

“He’s coming to Arizona. Finally Arizona’s being recognized for being a place for innovation,” Schott added.

As of now, there’s no word on when construction of the project will start. This is a developing story and we will keep you updated.

An Artificial Intelligence God is being developed by a ex-Google Employee | Tech News

Anthony Levandowski co-organized self-driving trucking company Otto, which Uber obtained for $680 million in 2016. He converted to head of engineering for the ride-hailing firm’s autonomous vehicle division and made titles after being fired in May following charges he stole trade secrets from former employer Google.

It seems Levandowski could now grow more famous for his charitable religious entity, called Way of the Future, which he established in September 2015. News discovered previously unreported state filings that report the corporation aims “through recognition and worship of the Godhead, give to the betterment of society.”
While Way of the Destiny has yet to submit forms with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to change as a tax-exempt religious organization, the reports do show Levandowski as its CEO and president.
AI gods may articulate like the stuff of sci-fi, Anime, and computer games, but it’s positively a concept likely to appeal to the futurists and transhumanists of Silicon Valley more than traditional religions.
Elon Musk is one CEO unlikely to embrace the move toward self-aware artificial life and the curiosity. The Tesla boss was one of many specialists to create OpenAi, a nonprofit that makes sure AI gain is regulated. He also joined 116 other experts calling for a ban on “killer robots” lately, and said AI was humanity’s “biggest existential threat” and “more threatening than North Korea.” Hopefully, his words won’t reach back to haunt us when everybody’s forced to worship an all-seeing robotic god.

AMD is going to build an AI processor for Tesla’s Self Driving Cars | Tech News

The carmaker has got back samples of the first build of its processor and is now managing tests on it, said an expert close to the matter.

The work to build its own chip is in line with Tesla’s potential to be vertically mixed and reduce dependence on other companies.

But Tesla isn’t simply going do it alone in chip development, according to the expert, and will make on top of AMD intellectual property.

AMD percentages spiked after News reported that the organization is working with Tesla. Shares of the capital ended the day nearly 5 percent higher and advanced to climb after hours.

On Wednesday Sanjay Jha, CEO of AMD spin-off and chip fabricator GlobalFoundries said at the business technology conference in Santa Clara, California, named Tesla as an example of companies that were operating with fabricators. GlobalFoundries, which manufactures chips, has a wafer supply contract in place with AMD through 2020.

In a statement, GlobalFoundries said the organization does not comment on consumers or potential customers and denied Jha said that the organization was working directly with Tesla.

A further power-efficient purpose-built piece could help Tesla get closer to achieving totally independent driving. Tesla CEO Elon Musk declared this year that capacity will be available to consumers in 2019.

Tesla’s silicon project is jumping ahead under the direction of longtime chip architect Jim Keller, the head of Autopilot hardware and software since the passage of Apple veteran Chris Lattner in June. Keller, 57, joined Tesla in early 2016 following two stints at AMD and one at Apple. Keller landed at Apple in 2008 through its purchase of Palo Alto Semiconductor and was the designer of Apple’s A4 and A5 iPhone chips, among other things.

More than 50 people are going on the initiative under Keller, the expert said. Tesla has brought on several AMD veterans after hiring Keller, including director Ganesh Venkataramanan, principal hardware engineer Bill McGee and system circuit pattern lead Dan Bailey.

Intel Coffee Lake official specs and prices details:

All new CPUs feature Intel's integrated graphics capabilities, but there's nothing new compared to the previous generation except for higher clock speeds. Core i7 models have 12MB of cache, while Core i5 models have 9MB and Core i3 models have 6MB. Core i7 and i5 CPUs now support up to dual-channel DDR4-2666 RAM while Core i3 ones are limited to dual-channel DDR4-2400. Models with the K suffix are multiplier unlocked to support overclocking, and have 91-95W TDP ratings while the others are rated at 65W. Per-core overclocking is now supported on K models, there is more fine-grained power tweaking, and RAM latency adjustments don't require a reboot anymore.

Intel's decision to increase core counts and change the definitions of its Core i7, i5 and i3 product tiers can be seen as a response to AMD's Ryzen 7, 5 and 3 lines. AMD's return to success after nearly a decade has been greatly helped by the fact that it was able to disrupt Intel's pricing model and delivered more cores per dollar, especially at the low-end. Intel claims up to 32 percent faster 4K video editing compared to equivalent 7th Gen CPUs, and up to 7.8X speed improvements in content creation tasks compared to a three-year-old Core i7-4790K.

Facebook and Microsoft have designed a cable that can transmit upto 160Tbps of Data | Tech News

Microsoft has announced the completion of the Marea subsea cable, a joint project with Facebook and global telecommunications infrastructure company Telxius, that took two years to install.
Suresh Kumar, Microsoft's corporate vice-president for cloud infrastructure and operations, said that the subsea cable was the most technologically advanced to cross the Atlantic Ocean and that it runs for more than 6600 kms and weighs about 4.65 million kgs – or "about the weight of 34 blue whales"

It was also the first to join the US state of Virginia with Spain, with the arrival being in Virginia Beach and Bilbao.

Kumar said the wire’s new “open” design would provide it to evolve with technology, as the estimate of Internet users doubled globally.

“And make no mistake, the market is growing. Just think of the multiple high-bandwidth applications and content you use now such as Skype and Facebook Live, and a number of streaming videos, movies and music consumed daily,” he said.

“This ability to interoperate with many various kinds of networking devices brings significant benefits including lower costs and easier machine upgrades, leading to faster growth in bandwidth rates."

The title of the cable, Marea, means “tide” in Spanish. The title of the cable, Marea, means “tide” in Spanish.

Microsoft’s Deborah Bach said: “Situating the wire many miles south of the modern connection points on both regions helps to safeguard against common disasters or other major events disrupting connectivity across the Atlantic.”

Bach said that the plan required charting a course with normal depths of almost 11,000 feet (3352 meters) and hazards traveling from active volcanoes and earthquake zones to coral reefs.

“The cable, which is about 1.5 times the diameter of a garden hose, includes eight pairs of fiber optic cables enclosed by copper, a hard-plastic protective layer and a waterproof layer. Some portions like to shore are buried to preserve the cable from fishing and ship traffic, but for most of its route, the wire lays on the ocean floor,” she added.

Artificial Intelligence will bring the third world war | News

Elon Musk has said in his tweet again that artificial intelligence could be humanity’s greatest existential threat, this time by starting a third world war.

The prospect clearly weighs heavily on Musk’s mind, since the SpaceX, Tesla and Boring Company chief tweeted at 2.33am Los Angeles time about how AI could led to the end of the world – without the need for the singularity.

His fears were prompted by a statement from Vladimir Putin that “artificial intelligence is the future, not only for Russia, but for all humankind … It comes with colossal opportunities, but also threats that are difficult to predict. Whoever becomes the leader in this sphere will become the ruler of the world.”
Hashing out his thoughts in public, Musk clarified that he was not just concerned about the prospect of a world leader starting the war, but also of an overcautious AI deciding “that a [pre-emptive] strike is [the] most probable path to victory”.

He’s less worried about North Korea’s increasingly bold nuclear ambitions, arguing that the result for Pyongyang if they launched a nuclear missile “would be suicide” – and that it doesn’t have any entanglements that would lead to a world war even if it did. His view is that AI is “vastly more risky”than the Kim Jong-un-led country.
Musk’s fear of AI warfare has been a driving force in his public statements for a long time. Last month, he was one of more than 100 signatories calling for a UN-led ban of lethal autonomous weapons.

“Once developed, lethal autonomous weapons will permit armed conflict to be fought at a scale greater than ever, and at timescales faster than humans can comprehend,” the letter read.

“These can be weapons of terror, weapons that despots and terrorists use against innocent populations, and weapons hacked to behave in undesirable ways.

“We do not have long to act. Once this Pandora’s box is opened, it will be hard to close.”

What is Bitcoin & What is Bitcoin Mining? Step by Step Guide | Tech News

1 Bitcoin Rate (selling) = 321,921 INR ($ 5045.68) | 02/09/2017

Bitcoin is a decentralized digital currency in simple way the bitcoin is a money & Bitcoin is the virtual banking currency of the internet but the fetish difference is just that you can not touch it and The big difference is no central government regulating it, then how do we know that the transactions are accurate?.

Bitcoin develop by Satoshi Nakamoto and his launched bitcoin in 2009, it is established that there will be a limited and scheduled release, no more than 21 million BTC can ever be created.

To use Bitcoin, you need to install Bitcoin wallet. Once you have installed a Bitcoin wallet on your computer or mobile phone, it will generate your first Bitcoin address and you can pay or receive a bitcoin on this bitcoin wallet address.

How Does Bitcoin Work? (Bitcoin Mining) :

Many currency exchanges exist on the Internet where you can buy and sell bitcoins. your coins are saved in your digital wallet on your computer or mobile device or any online wallet.

Bitcoin mining requires a computer and a special program. Miners will use this program and a lot of computer resources to compete with other miners in solving complicated mathematical problems. About every ten minutes, they will try to solve a block that has the latest transaction data in it, using cryptographic hash functions.

CPU Mining:
Early Bitcoin client versions allowed users to use their CPUs to mine. The advent of GPU mining made CPU mining financially unwise as the hashrate of the network grew to such a degree that the amount of bitcoins produced by CPU mining became lower than the cost of power to operate a CPU.

GPU Mining:
GPU Mining is drastically faster and more efficient than CPU mining.

Mining services (Cloud mining):
Mining contractors provide mining services with performance specified by contract, often referred to as a "Mining Contract". They may, for example, rent out a specific level of mining capacity for a set price for a specific duration.

ANDROID 8.0 OREO: LATEST NEWS AND FEATURES| Tech News

Android 8.0 official name is the OREO. Android 8th major version of Google mobile operating system.

10 Things You Can Do in Android Oreo That You Couldn't Before:

1) Use picture-in-picture everywhere
The YouTube app for Android has been able to shrink videos down into a little window for some time, but now you can do it in any app, with any other app in the background—as long as app developers decide to support it. It works in Chrome for Android already: Just make any video full-screen, hit the Home button, and hey presto you’ve got a PIP window.

2) Turn on notification badges
Android users no longer need to look quite as enviously at their iPhone-toting friends, because Oreo lets apps display notification badges on their home screen icons too: From Settings tap Apps & notifications then Notifications to find the toggle switch. The badges need to be enabled by developers too, so you might not see them in all apps straight away.

3) Manage notification priorities
Android Oreo lets you manage notifications in more detail using notification “channels”, so you can categorize the ones you want to see and the ones you don’t, even within notifications from the same app—swipe right on a notification then tap the cog icon to see the options, or dive into the settings for a particular app to see what the options are.

For example, some of your group chats in a messaging app might have permission to buzz and light up your phone, while others just display a silent alert.

Again this is something developers need to enable on their side as well, so you won’t see it in every app straight away, and it’s the app developers who set the different levels of categories (or channels).

4) Enjoy better security
Google Play Protect is being promoted alongside Android Oreo, though it’s actually rolling out through Google Play Services to older devices too—head to Settings, Google, then Security to see if you’ve got it. The service scans your incoming and installed apps for malware, sending you notifications if it spots anything suspicious or needs to take action.

5) Snooze notifications until later
Another notification upgrade: you can snooze notifications until you’re ready to deal with them, rather than dismiss them once and never see them again. Swipe to the right on an alert on the lock screen or in the notification drawer, tap the clock icon, and edit the time delay (if needed). This works on all apps straight out of the box with Android Oreo.

6) Save even more battery life
Android has been getting better and better at limiting the background activity of apps when you want to save battery life, and with the launch of Oreo it goes even further, with new rules on what apps can and can’t do in the background. A lot of this should happen behind the scenes, so all you will see (in theory) is your battery lasting for a longer stretch.

7) Play around with new emoji
A new version of Android usually means a bunch of new emojis, and Oreo is no different—in fact, Google has redesigned the entire emoji icon set this time around, so the blobs are out and more regular faces are in. New emojis include a wizard, a dinosaur, a fairy, and an exploding head for when you hear how long your Oreo update is delayed for.

8) Use new shortcuts in the camera
The camera app bundled with Oreo has a couple of minor tweaks that might make a major difference to your photo and video taking in the future. First, you can double-tap on the screen to zoom in 50 percent (and double-tap again to zoom out); second, you can switch between photo and video modes by tapping on the icons rather than awkwardly swiping, finally.

9) Sync all your data across all your devices
Chrome has synced data across devices for a while now, but Android Oreo is expanding that with a new Autofill feature. With your permission, it allows the syncing of app logins, credit card details, addresses and other information between devices and inside apps (like your mobile browser)—LastPass is one of the first apps to support the new feature.

10) Play around with an octopus
No Android version would be complete without an Easter egg, though admittedly the one in Android Oreo isn’t the most impressive we’ve ever seen. From Settings, tap System then About phone, then tap Android version until you see the big Android O. Then, tap the O repeatedly before long-pressing it to get an octopus that... just kind of floats around a bit.

Vulnerability In SARAHAH App: Anyone can read your Messages |Tech News

Sarahah allows users to leave anonymous messages on other users' profiles.

Now a day Sarahah is trending application on iSO & Android for social media.Sarahah is an anonymous messaging app in which allows users to leave anonymous messages on other users’ profiles. Once a user registers for an account, they can share their profile link with friends (or post it publicly), and anyone with this link can share messages to their profile. The app doesn’t allow users to reply to messages, nor can they see who a message is from, unless the sender includes their name in the message. Users also have the option to only receive messages from other registered users.Sarahah was released on iOS and Android in June, and, as Android Authority reports, it blew up in popularity, in part, due to the ability for users to share their profile links in Snapchat snaps. Sarahah is currently the No. 1 free iPhone app on iTunes.

Ubuntu 17.10 Release Date and New Features & Release Date October 2017 | Tech News

Ubuntu 17.10 codename is indirectly revealed. It will be called Artful Aardvark.

Ubuntu 17.10

Most Ubuntu users, if not  know the logic behind the codename and versioning of Ubuntu releases. All Ubuntu releases are codenamed with two words, both words starting with the same letter. The first word of the codename is an adjective and the second word is usually an endangered species and sometimes mythical characters.

One more interesting fact is that these code names are in incremental order. So if Ubuntu 16.04 was called Xenial Xerus, the next releases 16.10 was codenamed Yakkety Yak.Last release Ubuntu 17.04 had the codename Zesty Zapus. This left people wondering about the next release’s codename. Quite obviously it had to be something with starting with A as we go back to the beginning of the alphabet. And now Ubuntu 17.10 codename is Artful Aardvark.

As per Wikipedia, Aardvark is a “medium-sized, burrowing, nocturnal mammal native to Africa”. And it's also called in Africa "African Ant Eater".

Aardvark

Which Version Of GNOME With Ubuntu 17.10?

It is unclear which version of GNOME will ship with Ubuntu 17.10. My up-to-date daily build currently runs GNOME 3.24.2. In September 2017, GNOME 3.26 will be released, and that iteration is important because it will bring really important features to GNOME including.

  • GNOME Usage, a new app that will display the host system's current resource usages.
  • A new sharing framework that will make use of portals for sharing files across social networks.
  • GNOME Photos will finally be able to import photos from digital cameras.
  • The Seahorse application for storing passwords and keys will be replaced by a more modern app.
  • Non-integer HIDPI scaling, which means support for Apple retina displays will be rolled in.
  • A new UI that will allow the creation of recurring events.
  • Todoist integration.
  • Control Center redesign.
  • Quarter window tiling.
  • My guess is GNOME 3.26 will not make its way into Ubuntu 17.10, it could arrive in the 17.10.1 update.
What GNOME means for Ubuntu :

The best thing to come from Ubuntu dropping Unity and picking up GNOME is a two-way street of evolution. Not only will the Ubuntu distribution benefit from having a desktop that is developed by top-notch programmers around the globe, but GNOME will get input from the Ubuntu developers, as well as the branding that comes with Ubuntu. This is a win-win for both sides, and it's a situation that will go a very long way to continue improving GNOME, which will have the added benefit of improving Ubuntu.
